Days Gone – Broken Road DLC (58.81 GB), developed by Bend Studio, was released on April 25, 2025. This expansion adds a variety of new content to Days Gone, an open-world action-adventure game set in a perilous wilderness that takes place two years after a pandemic that has affected mankind worldwide.
The new DLC introduces a new Horde Assault mode in which players fend off hordes of enemies while trying to reach a high score. There are new areas in the game, including Cascade, Belknap, and Lost Lake, where players can access some of the same enemies, but the enemies will become harder to kill the longer you survive.
The game adds a Permadeath mode where players will try to complete the story without dying, which is a pretty tough new experience to try, as well as Speedrun mode where players try to race against the clock and get the best time possible, and a Photo Mode where players can captures great moments with the custom camera settings. In short, the new modes and features make this DLC an interesting experience that expands on the base game’s experience, but check your system requirements to make sure you do not waste your time or resources downloading it.
